Once again, we hope that all of you are still healthy and are managing the circumstances as well as you’re able. We also continue to be tremendously grateful for your support, even though it is impossible to encapsulate in words how deeply this is actually felt. We couldn’t do it without you.

As a clearer picture of the weeks ahead starts to emerge, we have made the decision to expand the online “class” schedule. Since we are able to be a bit more nimble in altering this type of schedule, we may be adding/removing meeting times as the need arises. Below is an overview of what we have added:

  • Noon Conditioning: In addition to the conditioning routines on MWF nights, we have added times in the same format at noon on Tuesday/Thursday

  • Morning Breathwork/Stretching: A stretching routine along with specific work on breath cultivation will be on Wednesday/Friday at 7:30-8am

  • Aikido Movement Study: This class will be slower paced and focus on breaking down the movements within Aikido techniques. While it is an unorthodox and incomplete way to practice Aikido techniques, our aim is to help you retain some of the basic movement concepts in the absence of a training partner

Our hope throughout April is that the timetable for our return to some sort of practice together begins to present itself. If you haven’t already done so, you can sign up for our member text group to get more regular updates as well as talk with each other. It has been nice to be in touch with many of you this way, but also please use it to share if you or anyone you know needs help managing our restricted conditions. If there are ways to help each other out, we’d like to help make that possible.

Please be in touch, and we are looking forward to seeing you all (on screen) this week!

Sincerely,

Enmei & Chris
